While in the UK in 2005, James was featured in a Channel 5 documentary called Extreme Phobias. He found himself working with a professional chef who had had a phobia of baked beans for 40 years (the only time James has encountered this particular problem). Here is an excerpt from the second and final session.

We feature here part of a training tape by Helen working with a very hopeless suicidal “client” (role played by an actor). In this excerpt they are looking at the advantages and disadvantages of living and dying, a subtle CBT technique that needs to be undertaken carefully and sensitively.
